Professional BackgroundDr. Vance Wilson is a senior partner at Daytona Heart Group and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Florida State University. He specializes in adult cardiovascular disease management, interventional cardiology, and coronary interventions.
Dr. Wilson earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, both with honors. He completed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Dallas V.A.M.C., followed by fellowships in adult and interventional cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
As Cardiovascular Research Director at Daytona Heart Group, Dr. Wilson leads numerous clinical trials on atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and antiplatelet therapy. He has served as Chief of Cardiology, Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology, and in other hospital leadership roles.
