Professional Background
Professional BackgroundDr. Roy Venzon is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who has been with Daytona Heart Group since 2015. He specializes in advanced, minimally invasive procedures to treat coronary artery blockages, peripheral vascular disease, and venous insufficiency, as well as non-invasive cardiac imaging.
Dr. Venzon earned both his bachelor’s and medical degrees, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, followed by subspecialty training in interventional cardiology.
Before joining Daytona Heart Group, Dr. Venzon practiced in Iowa, where he established a transradial cardiac catheterization program and chaired a cardiology department. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions, he is fluent in Filipino/Tagalog and dedicated to providing clear communication, compassionate care, and tailored treatment plans.
