Janak Bhavsar, MD, MPH, FACC

Dr. Janak Bhavsar is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and Endovascular Director at Daytona Heart Group, serving patients in DeLand, Orange City, and Deltona. He also directs the Clinical Decision Unit at Florida Hospital DeLand.

Dr. Bhavsar earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his bachelor’s in biochemistry from Rutgers University. He completed his residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Brown University’s Miriam Hospital.

Before joining Daytona Heart Group in 2012, Dr. Bhavsar practiced at Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Hamilton Cardiology Associates. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions, and has received awards for teaching excellence and patient care. His expertise includes complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, and advanced imaging.
