With more than two decades of experience in cardiovascular care, Dr. Deepak B. Shah brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to Carolina Heart Specialists, LLC. As Medical Director of Nuclear Cardiology and a respected member of the Board of Trustees at Springs Memorial Hospital, Dr. Shah is deeply committed to advancing heart health in the community.

Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Baroda Medical College and holds medical licenses in both South Carolina and North Carolina. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), and Sleep Medicine. His clinical interests include the management and treatment of cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.

Affiliated with MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center and Piedmont Medical Center, Dr. Shah is known for his personalized care and clear communication. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
